Sheffield City Council commissioned Watfords of Wombwell for this project, which was completed April 2009. The £250,000 project included an extension to existing learning centre, which provides additional learning space.

Designed by Sheffield City Council Design and Project Management team, the building is of traditional construction with curved steel beams to roof and exposed Glulam beams, walls are facing brick and block walls together with flat panel cladding, with a profiled metal sheet roof.
